Diary of a Drama Teacher...
Jon, Jenny and I have loved meeting all the fabulous friends our students have been bringing to classes this week and we hope some of them will become long-term friends. I remember one of our Youth Theatre students who came to a Lower Primary Bring A Friend class years ago - 6 years on she's still with the Academy still doing great acting!
Last week saw us start rehearsals for our summer performances in all our classes. Each week this term we practice the play and develop characters through exciting, dramatic activities with every child fully involved with great enthusiasm in every rehearsal. No one gets bored at Drama Kids and DK Youth Theatre!
Join us for the fun of summer production term. Unique ensemble plays include all children throughout. You aren't paying for your child to sit around waiting. If they want a line (or more) great! If they don't - they don't have to speak. We adapt our classes and performances to every child in the class. And that includes yours :)
Our summer plays are unique to Drama Kids. Written by experts in child development all children are on stage throughout and fully included in weekly rehearsals and the performance.
