A Midsummer Night's Dream

Primary children were tradesmen rehearsing a play for the Duke's Wedding. They loved discovering Shakespearean trades, playing pranks like Puck and waking up to find they had a donkey's head just like Bottom.

Our older Youth Theatre students discussed the relationship between Helena and Demetrius, it's relevance to modern day relationships and worked on a mini script - Shakespeare style or their own version. Their choice.
