Diary of a drama teacher...

In my 10 years + of drama teaching no one has ever locked me IN the building before - but I guess there's a first time for everything!

Last night I arrived at my Heslington class to find the door open and a workman leaving the building. I smiled, said hello and went in to start setting up. 5 minutes later I decided to nip to the loo. Good job I did. The workman had left, shut the door AND LOCKED IT BEHIND HIM!!! I know buildings need to be left secure - but with the next user safely inside??? Good job I noticed before all the children started arriving!
